ON the subject of Arrowchat not working, could it have something to do with Team Acorn? Like a setting being set wrong or version interference or something?

Adam and Matt, thank you very much for that, I could definitely put the money to use. I will hold it to see if we can get a replacement platform, and if not, it will help with my financed.

While most of the huts in Knothole Village were just for residential living, some of them served dual purposes. One hut was Nina Silkbottom's which doubled as her clothing store in the front and her home in the back. The front of the hut has a door and a large display window while smaller windows line the sides and back.
 
Stepping through the door brings you into the showroom where all the displays are located. Clothes of all kinds, casual, formal, seasonal, and others are all nicely folded on tables and displays. A curtain can be moved over the window so a rotating platform can be used for fittings and other similar purposes but normally it holds a mannequin used for displaying clothing and accessories. The front desk has a display window that accessories and other small items and behind the desk are rolls of cloth and spools of thread for those who want to make their own clothing and a door that leads to her home. Her home is primarily a living room with a bed on one side and a small closed off bathroom on the other. A kitchen is on the back wall and the
 
The ceiling to the entire building it raised and has a skylight in the center of both rooms. A large spider web is also suspended across the entire ceiling allowing Nina to move from her home to her shop and vice versa without going through the door. A ladder is placed in her home so guests can get up to the web if they need to but there is no ladder on the shop side for safety.

As they talked about the task at hand Nina would grab a pack and made sure it was empty. "Perhaps we'll run into someone helpful along the way." She said as she put a small blanket and one of their flares inside. "We'll be back as soon as we can... make sure the children get the latest batch of mended blankets." She said as one of her arms pointed over to the pile next to her chair while the others tightened the straps around her shoulders. "Lets get moving." She said as she walked behind Nomad.

The spider was surprised when Nomad grabbed all three of her hands since most people just picked one. "If you need backup Nomad then I might be able to lend a hand." She said as she grabbed a suitcase and stepped behind a changing screen that was thankfully out of view from the staircase. "I might not have much formal combat training but I think I can hold my own." She said as she stepped out wearing a micro-weave black stealth suit that was very similar to his.

In the corner of the room a woman was busy working, her multiple arms working on patching up blankets and clothes and any other fabric they had managed to find in the Royal Villa. "You got that right, I can work with what we've found so far but if I don't eat something substantial soon my webbing might run dry." She said as she folded the cloths she had been working on and walked over to the human. "I've seen you around but I don't believe we've been formally introduced." She held out her three right arms. "Nina Silkbottom, world famous... spider." She said, still adjusting to her sudden lack of fame and fortune.

Thirteen Years Ago:
 
The winter cold was brutal this time of year, one of the worst in recorded history. The snowfall didn't help, the fall kept coming and with the high winds, in combination made for one Hell of a season. Nestled deep within the vast Great Forest the Royal Retreat of Knothole, now a refugee camp for all intents and purposes; the inhabitants were feeling the brunt of this winter weather. Even with the tall, thick trees, snow still got in and while thankfully it was manageable for the moment to shovel snow away from the huts and buildings; that could change if the near blizzard-like conditions continued.
 
Inside a building which served as the living quarters of the Royal Villa; a decent sized bedroom had been converted into a total children's living quarters for the young charges of Rosie Woodchuck. Three of which were the Princess Sally Acorn herself, Tera Volfyn and Sonic Hedgehog to name a few. Speaking of the little Hedgehog, he shivered under his blankets, not just from the cold, but also from fitful dreams and nightmares.
 
A day ago his Uncle Chuck who had helped them all escape with Rosie and the other lucky escapees had been captured by a Swatbot patrol. His only remaining biological family taken from his life. Now serving as one of the thousands of Robian's working the polluted city that was once the jewel of the land. Shaken from a nightmare, Sonic sat up in his bed, panting fretfully, then shivering, wraps the blankets around himself. He was even wearing pajamas and besides his socks and shoes and gloves he never wore clothes but it was that cold! Didn't help his spines open stabbed through the back, but well warmth was warmth. He rubs his eyes, feeling angry at himself for crying... boys didn't cry they just...didn't.... but he missed his Uncle so much...
 
After looking across the room and relieved he didn't wake up his friends (least that he noticed), Sonic crawled out of his bed, padding to the door and carefully opens it before slipping across the hall for a bathroom call. His business concluded the young Hedgehog leaves but instead of instantly going back to his room he overhears voices from the main room. Bracing against the wall he tip-toes toward the end of the hall and peeks his head around the corner.
 
In the den was Rosie, bundled in her night robe, placing a cup of what he assumed was tea or coffee on the small coffee table before the Human sitting on the sofa, wearing rather ill-good for the weather clothing consisting of just his army boots, black trousers, matching black shirt with an open dark military jacket, a dark-grey bandanna around his head and gloves. All too thin for the weather outside.
 
"Thanks Rosie." Nomad takes the cup between his hands and eagerly takes a long sip. Sweet, needed coffee; black as the night and full of needed caffeine, and the way Rosie ground the beans made it simply divine.
 
The matronly woodchuck smiles, happy to see the soldier's content from such a simple thing. "You're quite welcome Nomad, now please do dear warm up!" She insists, before sitting in the chair opposite the sofa, her own cup of tea nestled in her hands. "You shouldn't be outside with so little on, you'll catch your death of cold."
 
A wary smile crosses his face; "I can't afford to wait to knit a parka, not that I know how." He sips his coffee again and sighs, despite being just twenty, he was looking aged, and the fresh scar across his right eye from the day of the coup still looked red as the scar tissue was mostly left to heal on its own since proper medical care was limited. "Things are not looking good Rosie. Knothole was not meant to sustain this many people, I thank the Almighty we had carpenters among the refugees to help build new huts but we'll need more, but the snow and cold's a problem. Nobody had time to grab winter clothes, and the few that do can only do so much themselves if at all in the cold." He sets the half empty mug down, placing his gloved hands over his face, softly dragging them down. "We gotta figure something out Rosie, our food's also running low. So not only do we need to worry about keeping warm, but preventing starvation. We need to keep everyone going and survive but also raise morale, some people are starting to crack, and if we all crack who's going to look out for the children? Those poor kids are depending on us to make it right because we're adults... and I know all too well what it's like to be a kid and failed by adults who're supposed to protect you." He murmurs sadly, thinking both of his past, and how he personally felt he'd failed some of said kids by not saving their loved ones.

I'm thankful that I've had the change to be so creative here and that I get to interact with so many cool people. ^^

Sry im late but it was a good Thanksgiving. Tons of food, family and friends showed and shot my bro's dead on halo and played D3 on xbox. All and all a good day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and hope you all had a good time.  ^^_

Hiya, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm always grateful for things but I want to say what I'm thankful for today.
 
I'm thankful first for all my friends, most of my best friends today I have met here on TA. I love you guys and I'm always grateful for everything you do for me. Always supportive, always doing whatever you can to make me happy and be there for me, I couldn't be more thankful to you(You know who you are).
 
I'm thankful for all I have, my art skills today I feel I owe to Sallyhot, he took me under his wing and taught me so much. I have a lot to thank for him and I hope he knows how big of an impact he has been on my life. Even though he's kind of a jerk sometimes unintentionally, he always cares and always lets me know he cares about me. He's a wonderful person and I want to thank him because without him, I wouldn't have anything I do today, I wouldn't have met any of my friends here, and I wouldn't be doing such awesome art.
 
Lastly I'm thankful to you guys here at the TA forums. Without everyone here, it just wouldn't be a forum. I'm glad that you guys click on your Team Acorn bookmarks every day, I'm glad this place has been like a home to many of you, and I hope I can be closer to each of you as well and make this place grow even more. We're coming up on our second anniversary to the forums, I definitely want that to be a celebration that we can all enjoy. <3
