I have applied a new theme to the board, if you don't like it you can change back to "default" using the Theme in the page footer!

Certainly is a blast back to the old phpBB days and the early IPB3 days, but hey, if we find a new theme or someone makes us one using the IPB Theme Development Kit, then we'll look "us" again :3

The Upgrade has been completed. We are now running Invision Power Board 4. The theme and forum addons have all been removed as they are incompatible with IP.Board 4. Any bugs or suggestions, please post here!

Hello All! So, Invision Services have released IP.Board 4 and it seems to be stable and very popular. I'm currently running test instances over on another site to see how stable it will be for us to run here. There will be no loss of posts, data or service if we do the upgrade. HOWEVER, we will be reverted to the default IP.Board theme until we find a new one, some stuff may move around and we will lose ALL our extensions as they are written for IPB 3 and are now quite dated. (Economy, awards, etc) I have spoken to SaL about running the updates and we have agreed that it is something we would like to proceed with. What do you all think?

The Forum Software is due for its renewal on the 10th of September, Yeah, kind of crept up on me this time, I've "Trimmed the fat" and managed to get our renewal down to a lean $25. Good thought Matt, but the installer is separate to the forum it's more of a snap-on than integrated. But yeah, I looked into it ;-;

I honestly have no idea, the installer just doesn't work. I've run it by Jim and he has no idea what could be causing it.

That is a good idea Keegan, but the idea is to have site-integrated chat instead of people needing another applet to access the chat. I would not be adverse to using something with an irc based backend though

I've demanded a refund from them, they have started to ignore me and when I filed a complaint on the forum they just deleted it! We'll need to hunt around for an alternate system.
