I have applied a new theme to the board, if you don't like it you can change back to "default" using the Theme in the page footer!

That is a good idea Keegan, but the idea is to have site-integrated chat instead of people needing another applet to access the chat.
I would not be adverse to using something with an irc based backend though

I've demanded a refund from them, they have started to ignore me and when I filed a complaint on the forum they just deleted it!
We'll need to hunt around for an alternate system.

Adam and Matt, thank you very much for that, I could definitely put the money to use. I will hold it to see if we can get a replacement platform, and if not, it will help with my financed.

Sorry about the sudden outage, but I had to take the forum offline to attempt an upgrade.
We are now running IP.Board 3.4.7, but the update did not complete cleanly.
The search issue is still present and I can't seem to trace it.
I'll keep working at it, sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to a technical error on my network, I have been unable to perform the update as planned.

Yeah, I know it's a little overdue, but the board needs an update.
So, effective Monday Evening at 23:59 (GMT) the board will go into OFFLINE MODE and as a result will be inaccessible to non-administrative users.
 
If you are writing a post or doing other transactions on the board, it is recommended that you are finished and saved before MIDNIGHT.
I will be preparing from FIVE TO MIDNIGHT until FIVE PAST MIDNIGHT. Then the board will be taken OFFLINE.
This update could take up to HALF AN HOUR or maybe longer depending on the extent of the update.
 
I will update this topic when the update is complete.
Please be aware, this update, as with all updates may break certain mods we have on the board.
So please, LET ME KNOW in THIS THREAD if something has gone wrong post-update and I will scramble to fix it.
