If the Great Forest was pretty cold, Robotropolis was like walking through a chunk of hell and yet the absolute cold of winter was here and there. The inner city itself was warm and hot with all the factories, power plants and building complexes creating heat that in some places made the city feel like a sauna. Yet the outskirts and the areas left to waste still felt the cold biting sting of winter and with the metal all over, the cold was seemingly amplified and finding shelter was near impossible.

Still there was a mission to be done and so Axel was here. Hiding out in a ruined hovel in one of the abandoned districts of the city that was close to the scrap yards and the lab complexes that he had little doubt Brianna and he would need to hit up to find what she needed to complete Barbatos's armor plating and whatever else she might need. He was bundled up a bit more, with gloves, and a cap with his jacket zipped up. His clothing were now darker colors compared to the olive-moss drab and beige trousers he wore in Knothole. Shades of grey and black hid you better in the city; lastly a backpack full of tools and enough empty capacity to pocket whatever scrap they came across.

Sitting in a ruined but still usable chair in the ruined old house; the Human-Dog-Mobian Hybrid took out a handful of dates and pops one into his mouth, chewing on it slowly. Most of his life he barely got to eat save for whatever essential calories he needed. After coming to Knothole which had its own farms, access to trade with hidden farms and villages, and along with food raids; it wasn't hard to get a full meal every day. They still had to ration it; but when he could the hybrid would get himself a handful of 'snacks' to keep on him to keep his energy up. More of a habit and quirk now than needed sustenance.

Having arrived first, he had scouted the perimeter, and for the time being it was secure and safe from patrolling robots. With luck Brianna would arrive and they could proceed on with the mission before they were discovered.

While Brianna did dress for the scavenging with rougher clothes she didn't mind getting dirty and a small vest armor underneath her jacket in case Swatbot lasers hit her, she felt she didn't quite prepare for the cold of their destination. The city outskirts had some of the coldest temperature in the Great Forest region, the girl's teeth were chattering as she rubbed her arms up and down to try and warm herself up. She walked, carefully and cautiously toward the rendezvous trying her best to keep to the shadows and out of sight. She wasn't much of a sneaky sort but knew how to stay out of sight at least.

As she approached the destination she peaked around until she spotted Axel, then walked up to him and nodded she was there and ready. "Sorey for the wait, eh?" Brianna stammered, her shakey breath creating steam in front of her mouth. "Let's make this quick, it's too damn cold n' dangerous to stick around for awhoile."

While his outward expression didn't show it, seeing the Lynx arrive caused the hybrid to feel relief that she made it safely; and merely nods in agreement at her suggestion to 'make it quick'. "No argument here, come on I think I found a scrap pile with the stuff we need over this way." He gestures for her to follow him as he starts walking towards the ruined back of the old house they were standing in. Peeking out the back a gust of wind, forces the Hybrid to lean back out of the wind, a shudder caused by the cold filtering through him. His ears fluttering, hearing a constant chatter sound; and at first he thought robots were coming. However as he whirls around to the source of the sound; he sees it's just Brianna, teeth chattering and cold.

He blankly stares, his expression unreadable and then he shurgs off his jacket and walks over to her and pulls it over her shoulders. "Put this on, you're freezing and making too much noise." He stated bluntly, before leaving her standing there in his warm jacket to look out past the far wall to check if the coast was clear.

Seeing no sign or robots he waves her to follow; "Looks like we're in the clear, we better get moving Bri."

Exploring Robotropolis was always a love/hate thing for Brianna. She loved exploring and finding things, the sense of discovery with the technology both Robotnik's and oldworld was exhilerating and fascinating. As far as hate, the city was terrifying 100% of the time and often too cold or too hot. The constant danger and looking over your shoulder was stressful for her, and she was not even a D grade for combat in the Freedom Fighter ranks. It was her intellect that got her the pass in the main team. Princess Sally herself gave her a lot of high marks. That Princess sure was somethin...

Shaking her head a moment, Brianna tried to focus. She couldn't afford to be distracted in Robotropolis. When they stopped and Axel put his jacket over her shoulders, the teenager couldn't help but blush. She knew he didn't have any feelings for her or anything, nor did she for him, but the act was sweet and threw her off guard. "Oi'm foine, Axe," she said, staring up at him a bit shyly. "Erm yeh... the noise." Swallowing, she followed him and held onto his jacket tight, almost wrapped around her like a blanket. It smelled nice.

"Oi see a good few junk poiles we can scav'nge from."

Unbeknownst to the two of them, a fox dressed in her white hoodie was watching them, and giggling all the while. Lilith hated border patrol, it was the furthest away from the inner city and the most in danger. Try and try as she might, she couldn't get a lab job messing with stuff, still had to prove herself. On the plus side the cold didn't bother her much, even with her thin hoodie and fishnet stockings. She was perched on a large tower further in. It used to be a radio tower, but was long since stripped for parts. Scaling it was easy enough, given the ladders and everything were still attached, and the large white drum helped her blend in as she lay down on her belly, peering through the electronic binoculars.

"Hey Mynt? Got a couple of snoops gettin a lil too close for comfort. Small abandoned house, right between the scrap yards and labs. Some freak of nature, I dunno, only got a glimpse of him but he looked like some sorta mash up between a mutt and a human. Some cute little lynx showed up shortly after. She was a little easier to spot. Haven't seen them leave yet, so they must be still in there. Its like the only house that hasn't fallen apart." She spoke openly, albeit a little hushed, the wind blew every which way up here, and she was far enough away they couldn't hear her, but she didn't want to take any chances.

Her and Mynt had definitely gotten a lot closer since that first mission they had together, so now she found herself volunteering to tag along on Mynt's missions now, even if they did take her to the outskirts of the city, forest side.

Against the wind, Axel reached the junk pile with Brianna and went right to work. Moving about the heaps of debris and dumped robot parts to find something useful. Wiping some snow off of a rather lumpy, and buried pile of metal, the hybrid spies a mostly intact Swatbot upper torso and pulls it out. Reaching into his bag he takes out a cutting tool, and jams it into a crack in the armor and began to cut until he worked enough of the material away he could peel open the chest cavity like an old can of sardines. "Bingo..." He murmurs, a light chatter of his own teeth escaping as giving Brianna his jacket and leaving him in his long-sleeved but thin layered shirt; exposed him to the cold. As stoic as he could be, even he had to bow to the elements.

Still he was rather happy with what he found. "Bri, over here! This Swatbot has intact servos for its upper joints and the drive system in the chest isn't busted...plus it has some intact armor plating!" Probably not enough to finish their scavenging right away but ever little bit counted. As he started to remove the parts from the robot; he suddenly looked over his shoulder, his ears lifting up.

What was that? A voice in the wind? Or was he just... hearing things? After the howl of the wind picked up, he decided to go with 'the wind' and resumed gutting the Swatbot of every useful piece of junk it had.

Mynt Post

Not one to give out compliments, Mynt clicked on the radio and replied with a short "On my way" as she made for the location Lilith was talking about. After their first mission together, which in itself was quite a lot more fun than the Echidna expected, that girl seemed to start following her around ever since. Not too often off-duty, but when there was a mission or job for Mynt, Lilith would come along. Mynt never objected, after all Lilith proved herself in that first mission thus the Echidna woman tolerated her. Anything beyond doing jobs together didn't concern Mynt, she didn't care why Lilith chose to work with her, nor bothered to ask about it. It didn't hurt to have a little sidekick to play around with whenever she'd get bored during a mission though.

Brianna Post

Brianna took her search slightly away from Axel, as covering more ground scavenging for things was a lot more effective than searching one spot together. "Noice foind," she called back, rummaging through some junk from a pile of scrap in front of her. For the most part they were trying to find good metal sheets to make into armor. It wouldn't hurt to find other things though. The lynx mechanic was a bit of a hoarder with what most considered trash, more often throwing things in her pack to bring home than throwing aside as useless. Any little bolt, bob, washer, piece of scrap metal could be used for something this that and the other.

They did need to bring back quite a few sheets of metal, which is why she brought a large backpack with a big tongue that could fit quite a lot of sheet metal. Of course it was meant for Axel, Brianna doubted she could even lift one of those things. For as much as she loved metal, it sure did weigh a lot.

"We need at least 8 sheets of met'l," she reminded him as she tossed him the rolled up ball of backpack at him from her pack. "Hopefully we can foind some paint as well."

Lilith switched from normal scope to infrared, as it was much easier to keep an eye on the two of them this way. She always had a number of little gadgets in her hoodie pocket, today's selection included the binoculars, some steel wire, spray foam adhesive and at least a half dozen mini charges. Those were mostly meant for clearing weak doors, and wouldn't do any real harm unless hit point blank. Normally the weight weighing down a hoodie might bug other people, but Lilith had certain reasons for making sure the hoodie stayed pulled low.

"Splitting up now." She whispered, upping the wrist communicators sensitivity to hear her better. "Big guy looks tough, but he's cold, infrared's picking up he's throwing off a bit more heat than he can keep in and the girl looks like she can barely lift squat. Want me to do anything or just keep an eye on em?" She asked Mynt, casually flipping back to normal vision and watching the lynx with a cheeky grin. Her fur was a bit thicker given her particular breed, so apart from the cold wind whipping up the bottom of her hoodie, she was more or less okay. She didn't know what Mynt had on, being sent on ahead to get into position for scouting.

Something wasn't right, the more the seconds, into minutes ticked off that uneasy feeling wouldn't leave him. Maybe it was just pure paranoia and the wind playing tricks on him; yet Axel often found his intuition to be on the money. His dog-like ears perk up as Brianna spoke and tossed a bag his way. He crawls over the junk and snow to grab it, nodding at her orders to acquire the armor plating they'd need. "Eight sheets, got it." He calls back before returning to spelunking for parts. He managed to find two sheets right away, but that was where his luck started to run thin as it took almost five minutes to find just one more.

'Only three sheets, and we need five more. Damn, we're staying too long out here, maybe we should have grabbed someone else to help us find the materials.' Axel thought as he rummaged through the scrap and debris. Pushing over some snow-covered bags of junk, his relief was palpable as he found another three sheets of metal plating and scoops it into the bag. 'Just two more, and then we can leave...'  thought the hybrid. He knew Brianna was hoping they found some discarded paint, but with the cold it'd more likely be frozen solid.

A gust of wind caused him to shiver violently; the cold was just getting worse. He briefly looks over to the spot Brianna was working. Even with his jacket, he worried she might not be handling the weather much better than he was. They had to hurry one way or another, he just hoped the constant 'feeling' he had was just the cold and paranoia...

Mynt Post

The Echidna doubted Lilith would be a good option for the first assault. As she closed in on the location and listened to the girl's words, Mynt already knew how she wanted things to go down. "Wait for me to attack. The weak girl you speak of might flee, try to cut her off if she does. I'll handle the big boy," she replied, her speech sounding a bit horse as she ran to the destination. The building was in view, there was no hesitation from Mynt. She charged in and went straight for the human dog hybrid with blinding speed, sending a powerful spin-kick in his direction.

Brianna Post

Brianna was humming a soft tune as she searched for things, her gloves getting quite messy from the dust and dirt on the scrap she rummaged through. Her humming stopped suddenly when she heard footsteps rapidly approaching them. It didn't sound like Axel's footsteps. "Axel?" She called with a worried voice, quickly packing her things up and hurrying toward her friend.

Lilith didn't bother with a reply, as she could already see Mynt rushing in. Sliding down the ladders to the tower she was thankful the snow provided some good camouflage. She was much quieter than Mynt, making her way around behind the lynx as she moved towards her friend. Mynt could handle the other guy, Lilith herself wasn't an actual fighter but, she did know how to make the best of a situation. Most of the time anyways.

For now she would stick close behind Brianna, figuring out the best way to take her out of the equation.

Ears lifting up, Axel cursed to himself, knowing the sound of boots in snow, running, and it wasn't Brianna. The footfalls were heavier, and behind him, and the Lynx was searching around in the direction in front of him, and upon hearing her voice call to him, could see her coming towards him. Thinking fast, he grabs a sheet of metal, (not the best quality but it'd do) and held it up like a shield. His attacker's boots hit the metal, and the force still caused him to fly back, the metal flying out of his hand and into another trash pile as he fell back into the snow.

His head spun, but he forced the pain and the cold down as he backpedaled away and sat up. His hand blindly reaching into his pack for a weapon. As he grabs a metal baton and pulls it out, he climbs to his feet, and shouts against the wind. "Bri, get to cover!" The wind howled and made him curse again; hoping she heard him. Spying his foe who'd knocked him down he held up the baton in a battle stance, offering no quips, no one liners.

He just wanted to see what she did first.

Smiling madly with a fantastical laugh the menacing echidna didn't relent, even for a moment. She charged at him, sending fast swings with her fist and lightning quick kicks at his face. The baton if it blocked her attacks would hurt a normal mobian upon contact with her arm/fist or legs/shins, luckily such pain was completely ignored and ineffective at slowing her down.

Terrified, Brianna hesitated for a moment as she stood in place, her heart racing and her eyes widened, she didn't know if she should give him back up, run, or get to cover like he instructed. Normally they didn't get assaulted like this... Quickly she moved in to his location and ducked behind a pile of scrap, taking a glance over it to see what was going on. A very terrifying echidna woman was attacking Axel. "Shite!!" she cursed, rummaging through her pack for something to help in the fight.

As soon as she slipped behind cover Lilith made her move, bolting right for Brianna. Taking a small charge in one hand as back up she reached for Brianna, aiming to hit her with a paralysis hex at least level two, but one would suffice. Something to keep her out of the way so Mynt could have her fun. Hopefully she would get to the lynx before she noticed. Her glowing eyes piercing through the snow and from under her hood. All she had to do was get close enough before she could react.

This woman, was crazy fast, and fought fiercely, and seemed to enjoy fighting. Furthermore she seemed to enjoy it whenever Axel did manage to land a hit with his baton. Hits that were few and far between as he was mostly on the defensive. He was decent with hand-to-hand but he spent more time with guns or mobile-mechs and tanks. This one was obviously at home with hand-to-hand fighting and loved it. "NGHH!" Another of her kicks connected with his face, forcing him back, but he managed to use the baton to redirect one of her follow up punches and elbows her in the ribs. Yet like before she didn't seem to react to the pain, or seemed to enjoy it, and struck back putting him yet again on the defensive.

This was going nowhere; he couldn't protect Brianna like this, he had to cut loose himself. When the Echidna woman came at him again, he lowered the baton, and simply dodged the head kick, but took the other blows; and felt pain invade his body. Coupled with the cold he knew he couldn't keep this up for too long, but he needed whatever edge he could get. As she got closer, he got right up in her space, headbutting her fiercely and following that up with a left cross that he hoped would connect with her temple; while he brought up a knee to hit her sternum hopefully in tandem.

Mynt was perhaps enjoying herself too much. Throwing blows, taking hits carelessly. Had she wanted to avoid or block most of the hits she took she would have. Yet the pain of being stuck fueled her more, made her more fierce, made the fight more entertaining. It was always a treat to face someone decent at one on one combat and she enjoyed testing them, seeing how long they could hold out, how desperate they would get. Mynt hadn't even drew her rod, she didn't want to needlessly end the fun early. Yet the stun from his sudden headbutt caused her to turn off the fun playing and begin to focus. The strike to her head that followed the headbutt barely missed it's intended spot, instead hitting her on the cheek as she backed a step to avoid it. As his knee came up she gripped it with both hands and flipped him off his feet, sending him flying to land on his back.

She quickly drew her rod then and sprang toward him with a sharp jab, one connection would send thousands upon thousands of volts of electricity through his body immediately. Her face no longer had a smile.

It was already too late for Brianna to react, before she knew what was happening she was frozen in place, her body not doing a thing she told it too. She began to panic as she flopped over, her eyes frantically looking around as they were the only thing that seemed to move. "AXEL!!" she cried, finding that her voice still worked. It was like a nightmare, she had no idea what was happening or why she couldn't move.

Lilith was quick, taking advantage of the situation and pulling the thing steel wiring out from her pocket and hog tying the lynx's hands and feet together before rolling her over onto her belly and sitting on her. "Ah ah ah, I wouldn't do that. Distracting your friend over there could lead to some serious consequences. She isn't out to capture him, least not right now anyways." She spoke, casually rummaging through the lynx's backpack, stopping only to give her cute butt a slap, giggling as she did so.

"How about while those two go at it, we get to know each other a little better." She was already absolutely calm, having the utmost faith in Mynt. There was a reason she was so terrifying, and it was justified in every sense of the term. "You go first, I mean after all you got nothing better to do."

His fist blow partially missed, and made him curse; she also blocked his knee and he felt his body fly briefly into the air before the snowy, hard ground met his back, causing him to grunt in pain. Forcing the pain down, he tried to get back onto his feet, but his foe was quicker and then- pain. Mind-numbing, excruciating pain flooded him as the rod connected. His body shook as electricity arced over his body and the usually stoic and calm-natured young man let out a howling cry of pain even he himself didn't think he could ever make.

He'd been shot, stabbed and beaten up, even got hit by a speeder-bike once. All hurt, but he forced himself to walk it off and continue the fight. Granted he ended up in the medical tent and out of action for awhile and got yelled at for pushing it, but that was how he rolled.

This, was something else; he felt the pain to his very bones; with his body jerking from the energy arcing through him, and an unpleasant warmth flooded him. Yet somehow during all this pain he heard Brianna shout his name and managed to jerkily roll his gaze her way. Spying the other attacker, who had his friend hog-tied sent a wave of panic, despair and anger through him.

Then fortunately for him his attacker ceased the attack, or the weapon's charge was out. Whatever the case his whole body just felt done. Even with the electricity gone, his muscles felt numb; like they were made of jelly. The only thing driving him to even keep breathing was Brianna's safety and survival for the two of them. It was hard to pay attention to how much time had actually passed, seconds, or minutes; but the instant he felt any sort of feeling in his joints he acted. With a cry of pain and iron-blooded-will, he manages to grasp the rod, and twist, tossing it from his attacker's hands across the snowy junk field a small distance

"Ngh-aa-aa B-Bri!" He rolls onto his stomach, a feat in of itself. Feeling his legs not work, Axel then very weakly tried to crawl towards his friend and her assailant; with barely any traction due to the snowy and slick ground, as well as having almost no strength at all to move.

Assuming his own attacker gave him the chance; and that little voice in the back of his head was already reminding him 'fat chance she will'. Which echo'd in his mind.

The weight of a rather light person made Brianna realize she was dealing with someone her own size. That, along with the smack on her bum, turned fear and anxiety into anger. "Oi!" she shouted at the one sitting on her. "Get yur fat arse off me, eh?! I dont want to get to know a creep like yew! Lemme go so oi can help moi friend!" She kept imaging herself wriggle to get free but her body just didn't respond. It was a strange feeling to not have any movement even when your brain tells it to move.

It was the blood curtling scream from Axel that forced her fur to stand on end and sent shivers down her spine. "Shite shite shite!" her friend was in trouble and she couldn't do a damn thing! She had never felt so helples... "Oi, do you work for Robuttnik or wut? Why are you doing this!?"

Breathing somewhat heavily, Mynt relaxed for a moment, the physical toll from the battle settling in now that things calmed down. Glancing down at her prize, she grinned when he grabbed her rod and tossed it. She loved that kind of spirit. It was much funner to break it when they are so powerful. She let him toss her weapon of course. How else would he learn his place?

With a boot heel she stomped directly on his middle spine and gripped his hair tightly, lifting his head a she bent forward to speak next to his face. "You will go pick up my weapon you threw so carelessly. Or your friend will be screaming in the next 30 seconds."

Lilith snickered softly, the remark about her butt actually stinging a little bit. As recompense for it however, she began to casually smack Brianna's bottom to a random rhythm. "Look who's talkin. Your ass is at least twice as round as mine. Could spend all day just doing this."

Stopping with one hand to reach into her pocket she slipped out a small charge and dropped it down in between her thighs, uncomfortably close to her crotch. "Now I asked first, and in case you think I'm fuckin around, that little orb I so neatly tucked next to your crotch is a small powered breach charge. Non lethal of course, but if you've got any common sense, you'll imagine what a small explosion right next to your nethers will do. You have a nice ass but I ain't afraid of fucking it up if you don't cooperate and answer my questions first." Her voice got icy cold as she leaned back full body on top of the lynx, laying down on top of her like she was a couch.

While she was doing that she heard Mynt give the other guy a time limit, and gave a soft giggle. "Tick tock kitty. Hope your guy friend listens. I'd hate to be in your shoes right now. My friend over there has final say now. So cooperate as well and maybe I'll play nice. Trust me when I say you'd be better of listening to me. My friend doesn't really give two fucks, and what she says goes." Messing with her wrist communicator she opened up a small holo display, and armed the little charge between Brianna's legs, with a small beep every couple seconds, just as a not so friendly reminder.

A loud CRACK filled the air as Mynt's boot shoved down on his spine, causing Axel to give out a yelp of discomfort and pain. His nervous system was alternating between being numb and highly sensitive and when his foe 'put the boot to him' he really, REALLY felt it. His head jerked back violently as she grabbed his hair and forced to look up into her gaze. A chill went down his stinging spine, he'd seen the eyes of plenty of 'bad people' in his time. He once caught sight of Robotnik and those eyes... pure evil. This woman's it was a menagerie of many things but in a way it worried him all the more simply because like those beady, red eyes or Robotnik's he could see this woman held no remorse.

As she told him to fetch her weapon, a feeling of defiance started to creep into him; remembering all the soldiers and mercenaries who 'raised him' and treated him like trash or a tool to use. However that defiance was tempered with worry as she mentioned Brianna would be the next one screaming if he didn't do as told. One of his ears perk up, hearing faintly on the wind the works of the white-hoodie'd one who had Brianna, threatening her with a small charge, and his blood boiled anew.

His gaze narrows at the Echidna, and instead of cowering subservience, the hybrid took on the look of someone with nothing to lose. His face blank and eyes defiant but yet also, hollow and promising murderous intent. Yet he made no one liner, no speech or vows to 'stop and/or kill her'. He just laid there, not moving until she got off of him so he could pick himself up. He sat up, grunting in relief at not being stepped on anymore and letting his aching joints a moment to relax; but only a moment. Slowly, easily he stood up, making his movements slow and calculated so neither of Brianna and his would-be-captors would make good on their vows to harm the Lynx. He trudges over to the rod, kneeling slowly and grasps the object. His fingers felt around for the trigger or a button of some kind. Yet he couldn't seem to find one. Perhaps it was custom job to make it hard for anyone who got it away from her from using it against her?

Well that plan was now out the window, forcing Axel to ponder his options again. His eyes catch sight of something in the junk debris by the rod and carefully makes a subtle grab and pocket of the item before standing up. Facing the Echidna, he holds the weapon out, handle first toward her. If she wanted it she'd have to walk over to get it.

The situation they were in terrified the Lynx with every passing second, her heart was pounding through her chest and her warm breath melting the frost off the dirt her face was shoved in. How were they going to get out of this? It just seemed so hopeless, and Axel is being hurt... His screams scared her to her very core. Her breathing became increasingly difficult, as if something was blocking her windpipe or shortening how much air she took in. "Oi..!" she cried, "OI think oi moight be havin' a panic attack here!"

She was freaking out, the charge on her thighs only heightening her fear. "Oi can't breathe!" Brianna gasped, sucking in air as fast as she breathed it out.

Mynt the Echidna simply stood and watched, waiting for him to obey, and yet like any defiant mutt he decided to do what he wanted, his own way. What he didn't know what he no longer had his own way. "Lilith, blow the cha-"

"Ma'am! SWATBOT B18342 reporting with a captured Freedom Fighter." Called a Swatbot as it walked up to them with a teary-eyed purple cat in it's grip. Mynt frowned and eyed the girl struggling to get out of the robot's hold.

"Standby," she replied, running a hand through her hair. "Call in reinforcements, we have two live ones to bring in as well."

"Affirmative."

Lilith merely rolled Brianna over as she started having a panic attack. The charged stayed right wedged between her thighs, she made sure of that. There wasn't much she could do with the lynx, except make sure she didn't choke on the dirt and snow. Standing over her she glared down, bright blue glowing eyes peering out from underneath her hood. It wasn't until she noticed a small glint of silver sticking out of her backpacks pocket did she actually get an idea.

Pulling it out, it was a small cylinder in a plastic casing. Even Lilith recognized it as an inhaler. Without hesitation she leaned over to grab it, pop the cap off the mouth piece and stick it in Brianna's mouth, squeezing the cylinder, releasing the cloud of medicine into her mouth and lungs. "Fuck sakes, first mission out and captive nearly kills themselves from a bloody panic attack." She fumes a bit before hearing Mynt call out to her.

It was all a headache really. She just saved this lynx, and now she had to harm her intensely. She was about to hit the switch even before Mynt finished the sentence, until the Swatbot arrived, with yet another new plaything. Taking extra precautions, she then bound Brianna with the last bit of cable in two more spots, one across her thighs, and the last bit across her midsection tying down her already bound arms once more. "Mynt. How long we got till reinforcements? Don't like sitting out here and waiting." As she asked, she sat back down on Brianna's belly, inhaler still in hand in case she freaked out again.

As the Echidna told her partner to blow up the charge, Axel's look of defiance left his face as pure terror filled it. "N-no don't...!" He exclaims, showing more emotion than usual as he forced his sore throat to shout. However the appearance of a Swatbot seemed to prevent Brianna from being hurt. Yet it doubled the trouble as Axel saw it had a prisoner. He vaguely recalled seeing this feline around Knothole; they just never interacted. Either way seeing her captured and the teary-eyed expression got to him; as did seeing Brianna still dealing with the aftermath of a panic attack. His cool resolve was slightly shaken, and in response he steps closer to the Echidna, bringing her the weapon, seeing they meant business. "Do-don't.... hurt them...please.." The apology hurt on a physical and mental level; but he had to stuff his own pride right now.

These two were killers, not content to just capture people and hand them over to Robotnik for roboticization... Which mean the usual methods went out the window.

Now if they could just find a way out of this...
