Ratchet saw the shot and worried fearing the bear could get hit. Before he could move to block it he was surprised to see the bear throw up the force field. He turned his attention back to the SWAT Bot just in time to dodge getting hit. As he kept trying to get a opening to strike he heard the sound of leaves rustling behind him. When Ratchet glanced behind him he saw the Legionnaires finally dragging themselves out of the tree.

Dimitri watched as the force field appeared. "I only know you are the escaped test subject and I've been tasked to bring you back." He replied coldly as he saw the bear charging. Dimitri decide to prime a concussion shot and aimed at the ground in front of the bear firing with the intent to stop the bear and knock him back.

Ratchet was fighting a SWAT Bot when he saw the bear disable the other just by touching it. "Neat trick." He said as he struck the Bot he was fighting. Swinging his wrench he struck it at the ankle joint of its right leg aiming to trip it. He looked up and looked towards the robotic Enchidna.

Dimitri was intrigued when he saw the target disable a SWAT Bot just by touching it. Lifting his arm he took aim as he powered up a wrist blaster. Once it was ready he fired a shot at the bears left leg.

Ratchet waited expecting to see the Bots start shooting at him. He was surprised to see the bear he'd been looking for tackle the Enchidna while shouting. Seeing the SWAT Bots pause to look back waiting for orders Ratchet charged forward. As he got close to one of the Bot he took a swing with his Omni-Wrench at one of its legs.

Just as Dimitri got ready to give the order to shoot he found himself being tackled to the ground. Glaring back at the one who'd tackled him and was shouting for him to stop attacking he simply answered the newcomer's question "No we are not and you sir have just put yourself in my way.". Dimitri examined the bear and identified him as the one he was looking for and spoke "So you're the test subject that tried to escape?". Shifting his body slightly Dimitri knocked his attacker off and looked to the SWAT Bots "Attack but do not kill!".

Ratchet continued pushing against the tree feeling it slowly give way. "Come on just a little further." He said as he hear d the sound of impacts on the other side of the tree. Soon though he heard the sound of the wood giving in and felt the tree begin going down. He watched as it collapsed onto the Legionnaires who where the closest to him leaving only the SWAT Bots and the mysterious Enchidna. Ratchet smiled til he realized he'd also removed the one thing keeping the SWAT Bots from getting a clear shot.

Dimitri scanned and saw the new arrival hiding behind a tree. "Is that all they know how to do? Hide behind trees?" He mumbled to himself before snapping his attention to the Mobian that he'd ordered be shot at just in time to see the tree collapse upon his troops. He was slightly surprised by this having not expected such an action to be taken. He noted he still had the SWAT Bots but that was it as he glared towards the now exposed Mobian "Prepare to fire." he said with a slight hint of annoyance.

Ratchet could tell he was in a bind at the moment. He was trapped with no way to get closer to the attackers and no way to fight from this range. He began looking to both sides trying to determine if he could make it to Legion force attacking him. "At this rate this tree is going to fall." Ratchet said then looked at the tree as a thought crossed his mind "That could work.". He began pushing against the tree hoping to hear it give way and fall.

Dimitri became more and more curious as to what the mobian hiding behind the tree was up to. He begin to detect another signal getting closer and glanced in the direction it was coming from. He noted the signal seemed to be a strange one as he was getting both organic and robotic signals. He looked back to the tree and noticed the damage to it the weapons fire was doing to it "It couldn't be".

Ratchet hid behind a tree as weapons fire began to come his way. "Dang what a time to not have my blasters on me." He mumbled as he felt the tree shake from the shots hitting it. He glanced a little past the tree seeing the SWAT Bot that was shooting at him as well as the strange figure near it. He then saw two more SWAT Bots show up with at least five Legionnaires who all joined in the shooting after the figure made a motion towards the tree. "Well this is just fun." He said aloud as he held his omni-wrench trying to think of some way to fight back.

Dimitri glanced to the returning SWAT Bots and Legionnaires before pointing to the tree "Shoot but don't kill.". He watched waiting to see the mystery target's next move. The slight glimpse he caught of the Mobian told him it wasn't the bear they were after but he also didn't recognize the species which peaked Dimitri's interest. He knew if anything this Mobian may know the location of the Freedom Fighter's hidden village.

Ratchet froze and dropped to a crouching pose when he saw a SWAT Bot nearby. "This isn't good." He said under his breath as he readied his omni-wrench. He knew if he didn't get rid of this thing then there would be trouble. Before he made his move though some movement caught his eye as he saw a strange figure moving near the Bot.

Dimitri walked close to the SWAT Bot as his internal scanners detected a life sign nearby. "So we have a hidden foe it seems." He said quietly as he began prepping his weapons. He sent out a silent signal to the Legionnaires and SWAT Bots that where out tracking to return to provide support. He waited til he got a confirmation signal from each that they where on their way back before glancing to the SWAT Bot with him and spoke "Take aim but try not to kill. I want this mysterious interloper alive they may be of use to us.".

Ratchet looked around as he went trying to find the bear. "Come on, come on. He's seen where the village is if he gets away he could tell someone the location and it'll be all over." He said as he walked. He paused and looked at the ground looking for tracks. Sighing he began walking again trying to see any hint at all of the bear.

Dimitri stood next to a SWAT Bot waiting to hear from the Legion troopers. "It is strange somewhere in this forest is the single point of control for the Freedom Fighters and yet we know nothing about where they are hidden." He said coldly as he waited. Using his cybernetic eyes he began scanning for any non-Legion lifeforms in the immediate area.

(This is proving tricky)

Looking around Ratchet felt uneasy as he saw no signs of the escaped bear. "Not good gotta find him or we'll be in some deep trouble." He said as he went deeper into the forest hoping to find the guy. He looked for any sign of where the bear could've gone desperate for anything as he knew the safety of Knothole hinged on him finding the bear. He gripped his omni-wrench tightly in his right hand as a bit of panic began to creep in.

Dimitri examined the ground looking for signs of travel. He looked up to see what the Legionnaires had found and to give new orders to the SWAT Bots. "Spread out and if you must try a thermal scan just find the target quickly. His value is too great to risk losing so hurry." He said calmly as he was intent to not fail at finding the target. His cybernetic eye watched the surroundings of the forest ass he spoke quietly "You cannot escape. I shall find you.".

Ratchet soon reached the outside area and looked around. "Where did he go?" Ratchet said under his breath before adding "He couldn't have ran into the village could he?". He walked close to some nearby bushes looking past them before walking over to some trees across the way. "He couldn't have gotten far I just need to figure out which way he might have went." He said to himself

Elsewhere in the forest the sound of metallic footsteps echoed. A small group of Legion troops and SWAT Bots came to a stop in a clearing. Among them was what one would mistake for a mismatched Robian Enchidna. "Well? Any sign of the runaway?" Dimitri spoke with a cold almost emotionless sound in his voice. Glancing around him he surveyed the surroundings for any signs of the bear he'd been sent to find.

Ratchet finally got up and shook his head getting rid of the ringing in his ears. As his vision also cleared up he looked around the room and then at the empty cell. "Oh no that's not good!" Ratchet said almost shouting it as he scrambled to check the area for the bear now fearing the guy was possibly an agent of Robotnik. Grabbing the one thing that didn't seemed damaged which was his wrench he quickly ran outside looking to find a sign as to where the bear went. He had to hurry to insure that the knowledge of where Knothole was wasn't given to Robotnik or anyone tied to him.

Ratchet laid there with his ears ringing and his blurry vision.Slowly trying to get up he didn't even notice the cell being opened. He tried to drag himself to a wall or something to help as he could use it for support. "Ah dang this all hurts like heck." He said under his breath as he finally reached a wall.

(no think their regular iron bars)

Ratchet took notice of the yell from the bear but was caught off guard when the electronics device he was trying to fix blew up in his face. The blast knocked him to the ground and left him completely dazed. His vision was blurry from the explosion making it hard for him to try and get back up. "Anyone get the number of that hovercraft?" He mumbled aloud as he laid on his back waiting on his vision to clear.

Ratchet looked at the bear when he heard him begin talking. Before he could say anything to try and calm the bear down Ratchet noticed the electronics going haywire "What the?!" was all he could say. He quickly began trying to fix the devices as best he could completely forgetting for the moment about the bear in the cell. "Dang it. This isn't good can't let this stuff break. These are a pain to replace when they quit working." He said to himself as he worked.

Ratchet soon got the bear to the holding cells and placed him in one and closed it. He then began looking around "Where do they keep the scanning equipment at in this place. I mean come on how am I suppose to figure out if this guy is some Robian in disguise or what ever?" He said to himself. He paused for a moment and looked back in the cell at the bear. "He looks normal but I've heard about Robotnik working on new things can't take the risk of this guy being a threat." Ratchet said to himself under his breath.

Ratchet reached the edge of the village and looked around. He soon glanced over and saw the one who'd triggered the sensors was a mobian bear laying on the ground. Moving closer Ratchet looked the mobian over not recognizing him as anyone from the village. Not sure if he was friend or foe Ratchet tried to lift the bear to transport him to the closest thing the village had to holding cells. "Dang this guy is heavy." Ratchet grunted as he began to carry/drag the bear.

Ratchet sat in the security hut in Knothole tinkering with some old mechanical equipment he'd dragged back from Robotroplis. He soon gained access to the inner area "There we go now lets see what we have." He said. Digging out some of the wires and chips inside Ratchet looked over it all sitting it all in two piles. He looked up at one of the monitors as a pinging noise began to sound. "One of the motion sensors is going off. That's not a good sign." Ratchet said as he quickly grabbed his gear and ran towards where the sensor was.

"Okay well at least all the pumpkins weren't destroyed and it is?" K31 said as he moved to where she was and looked at the pumpkin she was talking about. Looking he saw the teeth marks she mentioned. "Its fine and alright." He replied helping her quickly grab the few good vegetables "Here's hoping we can stop this thing before its too late.". He looked at the tracks leading to the forest as well and knew what ever they belonged to was very bold and fearless it seemed.

K31 examined the prints as she picked the carrots "Hmmmm these are the same as the one you saw earlier." He said. He stood up and looked around as she continued picking vegetables. "Hard to say if its safe here. It could be still around here or it may have already moved on by now." He answered her. He continued examining the surrounding area to make sure they where safe. He glanced back to the foot print looking at it trying to figure out what could cause it.

K31 was surprised when Sophia took off in a mad sprint but quickly ran after her. He soon saw what she was so worried about when he saw the remains of the garden. He saw dirt and remains of plant life thrown about all over the place. He placed a hand on her shoulder as he saw tears in her eyes. He looked around to see what was left in the garden and to see if there were any clues to what the creature was that caused the damage.

K31 nodded when she asked smaller and saw it in her face that something just came to mind for her. "Sometimes...yes they do.....why do you ask?" He answered as he watched her. He became concerned as he saw her face had a worried expression on it.

K31 raised an eyebrow when she said mark on the ground wondering if it was the same as the ones he'd seen in the forest. "Right." He said with a nod when she mentioned the garden. He noticed her stop and came over to her and looked down at what she was looking at. He examined the print and watched her as she moved her hand over it. "Yea it is." He replied when she mentioned the size "Hmmm it doesn't match up to the ones I've seen in the forest. Those ones were smaller.".

Walking alongside her he smiled at her as he saw her getting excited as they got closer to her garden. "Sure if you want me around." He answered noticing her glance behind them. "Cool I'll look forward to tasting them later tonight." He replied to her as she patted his shoulder. "By the way what did you see back there?" He asked curious as to what she might have seen. He glanced ahead towards the garden as they got close thinking about what they'd be harvesting in full.

"Sure thing." K31 answered watching her jump. "Okay then lets get to it." He said following behind her as she walked chuckling as he watched her. "Yeah I slept fine for the most part. Oh well glad to see you were able to get some good sleep." He replied as he stayed close to her. He looked around at everything as they walked taking in a few things.

"Night Sophia." He replied before leaving. The next day after eating a simple breakfast he walked towards the square. He wondered if Sophia was feeling better today. He looked around when he reached the village square. Looking around he saw Sophia and waved before walking up to her. "Hey Sophia." He said once he reached her waiting to start walking towards the garden.
