Mac-Man

The sounds of constant hitting can be heard in a section of the fighting between the freedom fighters and the legion as Jeremy's whaling on the Swatbot he landed on earlier continues. The Swatbot moved around quickly in order to get Jeremy off him but the dog has a good grip on him and isn't showing any signs of letting go. A few more minutes and hits to the Swatbot later and Jeremy notices the Swatbot shows little damage done to it. He stops hitting the Swatbots in order to reassess the situation while the bot itself speed ups and heads toward a large tree. Understanding what the bot is about to do next, Jeremy releases his grip thus getting off the robot before it crashes into the tree. Down on the ground, Jeremy looks over to the bot to see it almost unharmed from the last action. 
"Ok..." Jeremy whispers to himself getting up Removing some of the dirt on him." This one is different from the others..." He then smiles. "Good.I like it this way." brawling his fist and going into a boxing stance he dashes over the Swatbot intending to finish the fight. "Hope you can give me an actual challenge!!!"
Still retreating from the battle behind him, Valen presses more buttons on his controller causing more Swatbots to come out and go into battle as backup. These ones are the regular normal Swatbots that are normally seen in the legion army. He felt grateful that he was given Swatbots from Robotnik after getting permission to do so. Now feeling safe, he stops retreating and looks at the fighting going on taking mental notes of the battles and observes each of the freedom fighters' fighting strategy in an attempt of coming up with the next plan of attack.
Meanwhile, Antoine was still focused on his fight against one Valen's personal Swatbots avoiding the attacks from the machine. Antoine quickly waits for the right moment and then a few seconds later does quick stabs to the robot. However, the damage does little to it. "Quelle.!?" Surprised at the outcome, Antoine moves back in a retreat and hides behind a tree but quickly moves out of the way from another attack from the Swatbot. Expecting another attack Antoine prepared to dodge again but sees the Swatbot's arm stuck in the tree.
Relieved, Ant takes a few deep breaths until he hears a sound. He tracks it to see Lien-Da looking at him. This doesn't take him long to figure out why. He was in trouble more than you think as he didn't want to fight a woman. His honor didn't allow it. 
 

Valen was initially surprised at the sneak attack from the freedom fighters but quickly regain his composure. He wasn't going to let his years of experience go to waste because he was surprised from this as he been on the receiving end of this since his first battles and quickly retreated away from the action. He wanted to stay but knew he couldn't with his body not being what it used to be. Moving back he presses buttons on the controller to orders his Swatbots to attack and cover his retreat. The sounds of machines could be heard as the enhancers on Valen help him retreat while the Swatbots began to attack targeting Sally but one of were interpreted by Jeremy as he jumps from one of them from above. Causing it to stop in it tracks and focus on it. 
The other Swat Bots doesn't stop heading for Sally until Antoine comes in the way of the Swatbot. "If u wat ze princezz then you must go thought moi." He said fear starting to come in play with his saber out in front of the Swatbot.
 

Valen didn't like having to follow the orders of Lien Da but tolerated it in the end since he realized that the woman does have some leadership skills,was strong enough to fight her own battles and it was on the orders of man he owed a lot in Robotnik. Valen Harpler-Laymont enjoyed being outside despite his mobility being limited from the battles he been in but was grateful that the robotic enhancements on his legs help him moved.  His given orders was to assist in the placing of sonar bacons around the forest and advise the others were the sonars should be placed. He did scans of the forest with the use swatbots that created for him as bodyguards and his computer that was connected to his computer. 
He knew that the freedom fighters will attempt to stop the sonars from being place in the great forest. He had his swat bots scan the area around him for anything that wasn't a legion member, he ordered them not to move far away from him as he wasn't as good as a fighter as he new to be but had his cane with him just in case something were to happen to his bots.

Antoine wasn't thrilled in taking part in this mission to stop the sonar from being place but was less thrilled at the thought of the sonars locating their base if they were to fail the mission and can't stop the Legion from placing the sonars.  Hiding behind a tree with Princess Sally near him, Antoine had his saber in hand and was ready to attack on the princess's order but he felt unease about attacking the legion in the great forest. Normally a person feels more confident and better about taking someone on when there on their own territory but for Ant he wasn't. Maybe it was because he normally did missions and fought battles in the enemy home turf and not at the great forest.  While he worried about that a bit he was more worried about the other plan the Legion had.
Jeremy on the other hand couldn't wait to battle the Leigon members and was being impatient at the moment. Standing on a thick tree branch, he kept himself in checked, remembering why he was here in the first place reminding him that people are counting on him and the other freedom fighters.

Jeremy didn't 't see Ashley coming down from above and was surprised beyond belief. "What the heck!!!" He yelled not being able to see anything and tries his best to move out of the way in order to see. Getting the parachutes off his head allowed Jeremy to see Ashley's face.

"Are you two ok?" Jeremy turned to see Antoine near him walking him "I didn't see everything but I did hear her falling on you." Jeremy checked himself to see if there was anything missing and got up. "I seem to be okay. Don't know about her however." 
"Are you okay Ashley?" Antoine asked her.

Walking into the training grounds with a bag Antoine takes a look around the area checking to see if there are anyone around and picking a spot to practice his sword stabs. Finding a spot for him Antone moves towards a dummy that seen better days. " Hello there." He said toward Ashley while heading toward his target.  Getting his saber out from it's holster he does a few stabbing motions to the dummy, hoping to improve his skills with the saber that he had since he was a child. Antione knew he had to get better in combat in order to be useful to the group if he ever planned on seeing his father once more. That was one of the main drives and reason he became a freedom fighter.

Well, we have to keep in mind the fact that if everyone gets powers then characters like Sonic becomes less special and unique. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind one bit allowing everyone to create characters with powers considering I would be one of them but I think the real question isn't should we allow powers back into the RP. I think the real question should be this: Would allowing powers back into the RP affect the RP forum negatively?  Will  this make characters like Sonic less special and if so then how? And how much will this change the setting of SatAM from original? 
Remember back in SatAM, none of the characters with exception of Sonic had powers. Because of this, they  would be at a disadvantage against Robotnik because they had to use their wits. They had no powers whatsoever. If they did then the battle would be even no doubt. Now if powers were allowed then it would make the war evenly matched but then the characters on Legion side will get powers too. Now I know not every character created here will get powers if  powers will be allowed but it seem like the one without it will be at a disadvantage, granted the characters with power won't go all ham on them because of the rper and the rules set but still.
That being said, I'm for allowing limited powers but it needs to be said that there need to be more rules on that if that the case. Let's say each rper can create two characters with powers but then in each mission here only one character that has powers may go on that mission while the other be characters with none. That way the characters like Sonic can still feel special because they're only ones with the ability to be a game-changer of sorts.
Then again, to be honest, this idea just came out of the top of my head so I didn't think much about it. You could say I'm just coming up with a random idea and throwing it out there but I hope this helps others on thinking about this the topic of allowing powers once more.
 
 

Looking at the area in front of him Antoine thought about his next plan of action until he realized Bunnie already started moving across a bridge. Antoine thought about stopping Bunnie and coming talking about where to go next but seeing how he didn't know which bridge went to what so he decided to follow her hoping they could find something. Soon his com started to beep making him take notices as did his own ears in the form of twitching. He sees Bunnie grabbing her own com and talking to it and to Tweak making Antoine wonder if something going on. Antoine pulls out his com and speaks to it. "Tweak..is there somzing ze matter?" He whispered not wanting to risk anyone hearing him.
A hint of worry is inside Antoine as he hears Bunnie ask a question causing him to put aside his worry and look down himself. " Maybe provisions  " He answered, " Or it could be ze part for ze swatbots.." He guessed. He was interested in what was in those crates himself but just like Bunnie was out of range to get a full look at them.
Antoine then looked at the rabbit in confusion once she asked him about his shirt. "My shirt...you ask?" He said thinking about how to answer the question "I guess my shirt is de durable but to ze moi the truth I haven't really tested it." He had to admit. He just thought it was pointless to do so.

Hearing Ashley speak to him caused Antoine to turn and look over to Ashley " True...True.." Antione agreed "It would be nice, but not at the cost of losing feeling in some of your limbs for zee rest of the life." He added, "I'm sure Bunnie would want nothing more than to get her limbs back." He finished looking over to Bunnie and then back to being the lookout, keeping eyes out for any swatbots near.
 While keeping a lookout for any swatbots until it's okay to climb up and meet with Bunnie and Sally again, Antoine overheard the Tweak's warning and responded  saying : "Thank you for zee...how you say head up?" Antione said to Tweak feeling a little embarrassed saying the last part of the words he just said. He didn't normally say words like those but has been trying to recently in hopes of being more relatable to the others here and at Knothole. Antoine thinks it working but still finds it a bit hard to say without feeling a bit embarrassed saying it. He turned back over to Ashley now that they can climb the rope to get into the window.
"You may climb up first if you wish camarade."

Hearing Sally's next order for the team Antoine got himself in position to move along with Sall and the others to the factory. Seeing the bolt being thrown from the princess's hand, Antoine ran behind Sally as quickly and silently as possible in order to get the factory without any noise in quick time. Looking at the swatbots heading toward the noise that Sally cause made Antoine relieved to have her as the leader. Finally, Antoine made it across to the factory and sees Bunnie Swinging herself along the window ledges in amazement. "Thank mercy we have Bunnie." Antoine thought to himself as he sees her open up the window which made Antoine wishes he was up there with the rabbit. He just didn't like to see a woman get her hands dirty without any help. 
Now waiting to get into the window Antoine watches the robotic leg of the rabbit come near him and the others. Antoine looked over at the other members of the freedom fighters and said:" You two should go up first while I wat your backs." He suggested going below the robotic leg and getting on one knee." I shall help you get to zee leg ok?"

"As ready as I'll evair be" He replied to Ashley in a stern tone looking at her from below "Till we again, bonjour." He added drawing back out his sabre doing one last check to make sure it's in fine condition but deep inside he knew that he was. Antoine always made sure his sabre was in good condition as not only did he used it in battle it was also his father's saber and it was very important to him. But a part of worried about it, he knew there would be a chance something bad could happen to the sabre but he felt more at ease with it around him especially in moments like these. He shake his head forgetting about worrying over the saber and  went back to focusing on the mission.
"I am redy went you are mon princess." He said to Sally waiting to follow the next order.  

"Thank you for letting zus know." Said Antoine who heard Tweak though the radio. " I am near zee rendezvous point very shortly." He added keeping his eyes looking around the area while replying to Tweak. Turning around a corner, the sight of princess Sally and Ashley come into Antoine's view making him smile with a sign of relief. He always tread carefully and took caution when he was in this part of mobius especially when he knows he coming here. Looking around the area one more time making sure that the swatbots are not in sight because Antoine knew it was one thing to deal with the swatbots but to deal with them around the leader of the freedom fighters was a whole another story.

"Thank you for letting zus know." Said Antoine who heard Tweak though the radio. " I am near zee rendezvous point very shortly." He added keeping his eyes looking around the area while replying to Tweak. Turning around a corner, the sight of princess Sally and Ashley come into Antoine's view making him smile with a sign of relief. He always tread carefully and took caution when he was in this part of mobius especially when he knows he coming here. Looking around the area one more time making sure that the swatbots are not in sight because Antoine knew it was one thing to deal with the swatbots but to deal with them around the leader of the freedom fighters was a whole another story.

Moving from one area onto the next in slow careful steps Antoine carefully took notice of his surroundings making sure he doesn't alert any swatbots near him.  Holding his saber tight just in case something bad happens he moves around heading towards the rendezvous point to meet up with the other fighters when he hears sounds of steps coming near him. He knew by experience that the steps were the sounds of swatbot coming near him. Thinking fast Antoine notice some an alleyway in between two buildings. Antoine quickly hid into the alleyway and waits for the sounds to end as the sound of steps become louder. The grip on his saber was tight as did his best to hide any signs of his presence. Antoine tried his best to act tough but was really scared inside fearing for the worse to happen but he made sure that if he was spotted he would fight. He finally sees the swat bots, three of them walking in a group near the alleyway not realizing that a freedom fighter was near them.
As they moved away from the area a sigh of relief could be heard from Antoine as a beeping sound could be heard. Knowing where it coming from he grabbed it and replied back. "Zis is Antoine, I am moving toward zee rendezvous right now." He replied in his french accent 

"Now that that I'm done exercising my body it time to relax." Jeremy walk over to the spring with his bag in hopes of getting in the warm water and relax from the training he went through with his grandfather.  He was greatful that there was a hot springs inside in the city he live in as it make it really good with tending to the cramps he would get from training to much. He enjoyed the heat mixing with injuries has it makes him feel he getting much better as handling pain.
Heading inside the males section of the hot spring went into the changing room and proceed to undress himself by starting with his jacket and shirt. As he did he felt some pain on his right side casing him to winced."Ahhh got to go slow now." He asked to himself "I got to learn my body's limit when it comes to training."
A few minutes later he is seen at the hot spring with only a towel covering his lower body. He looks around to see if there is other people around only to find him alone. He sit hi toe into the water cautiously to test the water. "Okay let's go slow now." He removes his towel lowering himself into the water. As he had expected the pain in his body has risen again but it somewhat lessen with him in the water. "Ahh man this thing is a lifesaver."

Still on the ground from the attacks, Jared opens up one of his eyes since the eyes is start to ease up from him and his body. He starts to move at his own will again hoping to recover from the wound only to get shot one more from the mobian."AHH" He screamed in pain and agony grabbing at the place of where the pain is at. He now regretted coming out from his hiding place to help the mobian and not thinking of a better plan before going into action. As his eyes become watery-eyed from all of the pain he gotten"
 
"Please..." He begged " No more of this..."

Still on the ground from the pain of the laser, Jared winced once more after getting shot again from the mobian. He had to admit that this was the most pain he felt since coming into the forest and now was in more trouble from the problem that was in front of him. His eyes still closed, he moved around on the ground in response to the pain that was inflicted to him hoping to cope from it until it was gone.
 
"The pain.." He thought as now he didn't care for the people that was around him or just wanting to get away in truth he just wanted the pain to go away so he didn't had to feel it. 

Feeling the pain from the bots that shot him from behind caused Jared to go back into the ground. Closing his eyes, he winced in pain and cursed how he let his anger get to him, focusing on the person in front of him that he didn't even see the other  Legionnaires that were near him. Feeling the pain on his back caused him clench his fist. He wanted to get back up but couldn't due to the pain that he was in. He was worried about the damage he gotten and made a note to check his back when he was given the chance to but for now he opened one of his eyes to see the legionnaires that were near him.

Jared stopped in his track as the concussion shot forced him back a few feet sending his feet off the ground. While on the ground, Jared got himself back up on his feet "Who?" He asked in a violent tone " Who gave you the order to bring me back?" He added as he has an idea of an answer to the question as  the image of then human that used him could be seen in his mind. He clenched his fist thinking about what he done to him, experiment him like he nothing. "If you think I'm going back there....." He said in a silent tone looking into the eyes of the mobian with rage. "THAN YOUR DEAD!!!" He yelled as the color blue fills his eyes charging one more at the mobian.

Jared focus so much on how he was able to deactivate the bots that by the time he realized that the blaster was coming toward him or his leg for that matter. As he lifted his hands instantly by instinct which caused  his nanties to react by as a force field appears from his hands stopping the shot. " Whoa....just what the hell..." Jared said not finishing his sentence out of the shock that he just witness a moment ago. Memories of the experiment from the hands of the human enter his mind as he began to feel his inner rage rise inside him. 
 
He looks over to the Mobian who fired the shot. He remembered him saying that Jared is the test subject he was looking for making Jared think he might know what going on with him.''Why do you want to capture me??!!" He yells as he charges at him in the hopes of pushing him towards a tree.

To be honest  Jared didn't tackled the mobian as a part of his plan as he didn't had one since he was hoping it would have knocked him out. Unfortunately for him it didn't and only make things worse for him much to his dismay. He tired to say something in response to the mobian words but as he was forced off the man he realized how much danger he was in. Though he knew the possibilities of what could happen had he shown himself he now realize that one of the possibilities has turned real with the danger in this face.
 
Now looking at the SWAT Bots after hearing him give the orders,He pushes one of them into a tree out of fear and desperation in the hopes of dying or worse captured but as soon as he touches one of SWAT Bots his nanties began to react causing them to deactivate.  Jared looks at his hand in confusion as to how the bot deactivated like that until he remembers what happen to him. "I wonder...." He thought to himself as he looked at the other bot.

Seeing the tree falling down he braced himself for the fall by holding onto the tree until the tree finally hit the ground. He now sees the result but notices the swat bots and the mobian are still alive. Realizing that the other mobian is now wide open for an attack, Jared knew it was a matter of time until the swat bots will attack and finished him. This causes Jared to clench his fist as he comes to a discussion and rushes over to the mobian hoping to distract him long enough for the other one to do something. "NOOO STOP!!" Jared said as he ran from the tree and and tackled Dimitri from behind in hopes in do something about the current situation. "Stop all of this!!" He said "Aren't you guys on same side??!!!" He knew the answered to that question but he wanted to ask just to make sure he was right. 

Seeing something from afar Jared closed his eyes a bit just to examine the objects but deep down he had a good feeling it was the person who was looking for him earlier. However, he wondered the what  other objects where but knew they weren't living beings due to his sensing electronic signals from them. As he got closer to them he began to walk more slowly hoping that the others didn't notice he was here. Finally seeing what is ahead he saw two robots right next to another person he hasn't seen before with the sounds of bullets coming out of the robots. He also saw the person that was looking for him hiding behind a tree doing something but Jared didn't know what.
 
Now hiding behind a nearby tree, he started to think about the current situation at hand and now started to realize that if the robots are shooting the mobian that is behind the tree than he couldn't be all bad. The mobian that put him in his cell is being outnumbered and outmatched and Jared didn't think that was righ but a part of him didn't want to risk his life. Even if he wanted to help he asked himself how could he as he wasn't good at fighting these guys.
 
He stood behind the tree near the others as he thought about what to do.

Hearing sounds of bullets firing into the forest in same direction as were he was headed made Jared froze in place. Fear started to show up causing him to ask himself if it was really worth going over there to find the mobian after hearing the sound. He wanted to think that it was something else but he knew full well what it was as the fear start to enter him. Still standing in the forest, he realized the possibilities of what could happen if he if went over there and if he didn't causing him to clench his hands as more possibilities start to enter his mind causing him to tremble at the thought of being captured or worse..
 
After a few minutes he yelled "Fuck it!!" As he headed over to the sounds of the bullets hoping that all of this will lead him into finding out who he is.

Walking deep into the forest Jared tried his best to look for the person by going into the direction he saw him went but has yet to find him so far. He began to wondered how far the person went  deep into the forest until the nanites inside him senses some electronic devices into the forest.  He notices that the signal is coming from the same direction that the mobian went to. He didn't know what the electronic device is but he had a bad feeling about it so he headed toward the direction of it.

Touching the nearby hut Jared notices how this feel realizing that this is made out of wood. He soon the door opens from the hut causing him to quickly get back into the village. He sees a mobian coming out walking the other way from him. Now thinking about the person that caught him and the fact that the two places he been two are different he gets out of the bushes again and heads over to the forest now looking for the person who was looking for him in the hopes of getting some answers from him onto what this place is and if he friendly.
